About

Aloha and “Haisai”, my name is Saki Kimura, DPT, and I am the founder of Kafuu Physical Therapy.

Originally from Okinawa, Japan, I have been working as a physical therapist with over a decade of clinical experience. I have worked in skilled nursing and outpatient settings, and I developed a deep appreciation for helping a wide range of patients from teenage athletes to older adults improve mobility and function and achieve a healthy, active lifestyle.

I started Kafuu Physical Therapy in Hawaii because this community has meant great to me. When I first began my life in Hawaii as an immigrant, I was touched by the kindness of neighbors and community members who welcomed me warmly.

Through Kafuu Physical Therapy, I hope to give back to the community and support people in restoring movement, improving quality of life, and living active lives.

The Meaning Behind the Name

Kafuu is an Okinawan word meaning good fortune, happiness, or good news; often used to express a blessing.

At Kafuu Physical Therapy, our goal is to help people restore movement and live active, healthy lives.

Through one-on-one care, we support each patient on their path toward healing and Kafuu.
